This is going to be one of those brief summaries in order to catch my own journaling up on what has been going on. Something tells me it won't be as brief as I'm imagining, but it's worth a shot.

A surefire warning against STDs?

One week after LASIK I headed out towards North Carolina to spend the weekend at a friend's house in Nags Head. The weekend was highly memorable in its intense level of relaxation. Beer, sleep, food, good conversation... a great fix that was well needed. I took a chance to visit some historic lighthouses (which, come to think of it, have little to be seen that's memorable about them), visited Kitty Hawk (which, come to think of it, has little to be seen that's memorable about it) and managed to photograph some interesting signs which, come to think of it, were more memorable than any of the typical sites. I suppose that 14 years of living in Peru cured me of playing the See The Sites You Must See game.
